## **Copyblogger Taught Me Everything I Know**

When I was 23, I got sober. I had a terrible drug addiction, and I moved to Florida to detox on my cousin's couch and get my life together.

About a year into my sobriety, I started a website called Sober Nation. Sober Nation was a blog, media site, and directory aiming at helping people who also had addiction problems find help and community.

_**Every day, I would read a website called Copyblogger to learn how to become a great content creator. I applied what I learned, and Sober Nation became a huge online brand.**_

As my skills grew, I created a 7 figure agency, invested in other companies, and built other profitable media companies. 

I'm a blue collar kid from Philly. I have no formal education, no business training, and no certifications.

What I did have was a willingness to create content, publish my work, and put in the effort.

Copyblogger was founded by a man named Brian Clark. When I was first building my online business, I saw Brian as some kind of hero. His work taught me everything I know about content marketing and online sales.

Somehow, I built a relationship with Brian and eventually, I was able to buy Copyblogger.com from him. This moment was a dream come true.

Now, I am here to repay the favor.
